How do you get mentally ready for a football game?
I play high school football, and I’ve always had trouble getting mentally prepared for the game. I’ll listen to the pump up music, picturing myself succeeding, the usual.
But it seems like at kick off, my head isn’t always is (it usually is, but sometimes it’s not). And sometimes I get almost to zoned it, it’s hard to explain. So, what do you guys do to be completely zoned in before a game?
Think about all the work you put in during practices,
about the work your team has put in, and about how much harder you worked than the other team. You must think you deserve to win come game time.
