Can i file for divorce in West Virginia, move to Louisiana, then
file for divorce in Louisiana?
My sister in Law
filed for divorce in West Virginia, her soon-to-be ex., filed in Florida, they both still live in West Virginia, she wants to move home to Louisiana.
Can she change from filing in West Virginia to filing in Louisiana?
Nope! She filed, why continue to confuse the issue just finish what she started in W.Va. It’s already going to be a mess with him filing in Fla. Since they both live in W.Va. she has the upper hand because she filed there. Tell her unless another monster hurricane hits La. just wait this out in W.Va. and git er done!
